WHAT IS BOIPS?
Business Over Internet Protocol Services, also known as Business Over Independent Phone Services.
With BOIPS Service you purchase the phones and installation, then rent the use of the phones that come with phone lines every month.
That’s right: no local phone company bill!
It’s not just a phone with one line; it’s a phone FULL of lines; as many as you want that will fit on the phone you choose. The smallest phone can have up to 12 lines!
AND each phone includes:
- Its own direct outside phone number
- Rotary Service (line 1 rolls to line 2, to 3, etc.)
- Caller ID (every phone has a display for this service)
- Free Hawaii Inter-Island phone calls (talk all you want to for free!)
- 4.2 cents per minute to the mainland long distance rate (CHEAP!)
- A speakerphone (a good, full-duplex one)
AND you can KEEP your existing phone numbers!

How Much Does it Cost?
 Get all of the above for just $35 per month plus installation and phone purchase charges, which vary by type of phone. Add Voicemail for just $5 per month more.
Compare BOIPS Service to local phone company charges of about $45 per month just for a single phone line!

What If I Have A Very Small Business?
The smaller the business, the more economical BOIPS Service is compared to your local phone company.
If you have 2 voice lines and 2 telephones today you are paying about $90-$105 per month to your local phone company for the lines alone. With BOIPS Service you would pay $70 per month but with 12 or more phone lines and Caller ID and free Hawaii Inter-Island phone calls and 4.2 cents per minute to the mainland, plus a speakerphone.

Do I Have To Pay Maintenance On The Phones?
No! Your monthly service includes the repair of any phones that go bad through no fault of your own. There is a service charge if we have to go to your premises which varies by location, but no charge for replacing the phones themselves.
You also get FREE programming changes for as long as you maintain your BOIPS Service, such as moving around lines or buttons, changing names on the extension numbers or voicemail box(es), stuff like that.

What Else Does It Do?
 You can move your BOIPS phone to virtually any broadband Internet connection in the world and it will function the same way as if you’re sitting on the Big Island.
So if you have multiple locations, or want to have people work from home or on the mainland some or all of the time, BOIPS is a perfect fit!
Since all BOIPS phones are connected to the same phone system you can have buttons on your phone to show you when other BOIPS phones and lines are in use no matter where they are located, and you can transfer calls not just to another phone at another location, but to anywhere in the world. Try doing that on a traditional phone system and you’ll quickly run out of phone lines!

Do You Offer Any Other BOIPS Service Options?
Sure! Here’s a quick list:
Mobile Extension
Ring your mobile/cell phone (or any other phone number) and your BOIPS phone at the same time. Mobile Extension calls can then be transferred from your cellphone to any other phone number anywhere in the world.
Voicemail to Email
When someone leaves a message on a BOIPS voicemail you can have the message sent to your email as a .wav file.
Fax Box To Email
Get your own fax phone number to receive faxes. When the faxes arrive, they are immediately sent to your email address.
Voicemail Box
Get your own private voicemail number and get Message Notification when someone leaves a message in your voicemail box.
